Synopsis
 Metallica – Aural Amphetamine traces the evolution of Thrash Metal from New Wave of British Heavy Metal antecedents such as Diamond Head via Metallica and provides an assessment of the impact and the legacy of Thrash. In particular this documentary highlights Metallica’s role in re-inventing the genre after their drummer and co-founder Lars Ulrich brought back British Metal records to LA.Features interviews with members of Metallica, Megadeth, Machine Head, Diamond Head, Elxir, Neurois, Lääz Rockit, Scarilege BC and many others performance footage of the pivotal Thrash bands and review and reassessment from esteemed journalists Malcolm Dome, Lonn Friend and Joel McIver. Also included is archive material, location shoots, and much, much more.
