The Kids to premiere at Tribeca in June

Eddie Martin’s feature documentary The Kids will have its World Premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival in June. All the while, Umbrella Entertainment is thrilled to be taking on the Australian and New Zealand distribution of The Kids.

The Kids follows up on the lives of the young Manhattan skaters that were chosen from the streets to star in Larry Clark’s 1995 notable film Kids.

The Kids is directed by Australian Eddie Martin; produced and edited by Shannon Swan; co-produced by Hamilton Chango Harris, Peter Bici, Caroline Rothstein, and Jessica Forsyth; cinematography by Hugh Miller; with additional camera by Michael Latham and Jérôme de Gerlache. The Kids is a 6 Seasons Productions and Resolution Media production, made with support from Screen Australia and with the assistance of Film Victoria.

Eddie Martin was the director of the celebrated 2017 documentary Have You Seen the Listers? and 2014 award-winning All This Mayhem.

London- based documentary distributor Dogwoof took on international sales for the documentary. The acquisition was finalised this month by Dogwoof Heads of Acquisitions, Oli Harbottle, and the filmmakers.
